Changing war techniques have brought some difficulties as well as conveniences. With the use of sniper weapons, the use of IED (Handmade Explosives) has also increased, and the sensitivity of our security forces to use personal protective equipment has also increased proportionally.

When the statistics of injuries resulting in death are examined, head and chest injuries take the first place, the changes in war techniques and tactics, the personnel protective equipment used are no longer the head and chest injuries; instead, an increased incidence of abdominal, groin, legs, limb injuries resulting in amputation, and neck injuries was observed.

Evolving Injury Patterns

It has been revealed that when the existing ballistic vests cover the abdomen and groin area, it restricts the mobility of the personnel. Developed as a solution to the increasing number of fatal abdominal-groin injuries, Abdominal Aortic and Junctional Tourniquet has been used safely not only in abdominal-groin but also underarm injuries, it has achieved successful results and most importantly “Saved a Life”.

TACTICAL STRETCHER - XTRACT STRETCHER

It is a stretcher that provides safe evacuation and rescue of the sick and wounded in all tasks and in all climatic conditions that our Armed Forces personnel can take part in.

The cocoon shape of the stretcher not only provides comfort to the casualty during evacuation, but also ensures that all the interventions and applications made to the casualty remain in their places and the continuity of the treatment.

The stretcher provides transportation and evacuation by dragging with at least one personnel. The stretcher also has devices to protect the victim from hypothermia and to allow the stretcher to float in water

SJT (Sam Junctional Tourniquet)

It is a tourniquet that can be used in the groin and armpit areas where the protection of the steel vests used by the personnel is the weakest during the operation, the survival rate is very low in case of injury, and the possibility of intervention is very limited.

It is used safely in arm and armpit injuries by compressing the subclavian artery with the unilateral or bilateral femoral artery, and very positive results are obtained.

It can also be used as a Pelvis belt in case of pelvic fractures or suspicions. It is light, suitable for use in different heat or climate conditions. It is used by Special Forces Command, Gendarmerie General Command and Police Special Operations.

Intra-Bone Injection SAM IO (Intra-bone Injection)

Intraosseous injection sets are preferred in cases where the victim’s vascular access cannot be reached and tactical conditions do not allow a second or third attempt to be repeated.

It can be used by all personnel who have received first aid training. It can be used not only for serum, but also for blood transfusion. Both are easy to use. NIO and SAM IO and needle gun are mechanical.

It doesn’t need battery. The SAM IO needle gun also allows the use of other batteryoperated bone marrow needles, which are frequently used in our country. NIO is the easiest to use Intra osseus interference kit.
